Water is the most precious natural resource, which needs to be conserved. To support this noble cause, Staford School organized the colourful poster making, slogan writing and face painting competitions to raise awareness amongst students and provide them with opportunities to explore ways to conserve water. There was plethora of activities around the campus for the students along with the focus on some common ways to save water.
The young Stafordians got a chance to witness the latest water harvesting methods installed in the campus of their school which comprise of soak pits, water reservoir tanks and self sufficient rainwater harvesting structure. In addition to this, the school has a huge swimming pool equipped with the latest filtration techniques, which constantly treat and recycle the water for further use.
The day ended with a strong message to manage water crisis by doing our bit and to contribute to the cause of water conservation by creating awareness among the masses to save this valuable resource.
