Regional Science City is a pioneering institute designed to usher in a new way of learning science in a truly interactive ambience. An educational trip was organised by Staford School for the students of class VII on 20th August 2019. The students were awe-struck to visit various interactive galleries with large exhibits, video displays, multimedia games and science recreations to understand the different concepts of science in a better way.
The galleries like ‘Underwater Exploration’, ‘Human Mind’ and ‘Wonder world of materials’ provided in depth information on the concepts of underwater phenomena, interesting features of human mind and fundamentals of material science respectively. Children were fascinated to visit ‘Biotechnological Revolution’ exhibit where they got acquainted with terms like human gene, DNA etc. The gallery on “Fluidics” depicts interesting properties of air, water, oils and other fluids that we commonly deal with.
An interesting SDL (Science demonstration lectures) session enlightened the students with fascinating aspects of science. It gave an opportunity to the children to explore the hidden mysteries involved in various scientific experiments. Overall, the trip provided a platform to the students to develop curiosity and instill scientific temper in them.
