Staford School celebrated Teachers’ day with great enthusiasm and gaiety.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm in many parts of the world. The day is dedicated to the teachers, who play a prominent role in the life of their students. The teachers act as the guide for life, show the path towards success and enrich the personality of their disciples by imparting ethical and academic knowledge. They bring out the untamed talents of their students and sharpen it in order to bring out the best results.
The celebration commenced with a special morning assembly conducted by the teachers. In the later part of the day, the students took over the charge and performed a scintillating cultural show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The cultural show incorporated songs, dance, mime and skit. They expressed their gratitude towards their teachers for their support and guidance through the songs ‘We love you teachers’ and ‘thank you teachers’. A surprise group song ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’ prepared by the teachers overwhelmed the students. The teachers also participated in the fun games especially arranged for them. A jovial mood engulfed the school as all the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the program. The teachers were engaged in several games organised for them, wherein they exhibited a lot of excitement and enthusiasm, ready to outweigh each other. The winners were awarded.
The special assembly concluded with a short speech by the Principal, Mrs.RatnaKhanna. She extended her heartiest thanks to all students on behalf of the whole staff. She also indicated that teachers play a vital role in making their pupil accountable citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings. They are the cornerstone of students’ future and there is nothing worth enough to gratify them for their selfless service and commitment.
