Stories tend to invoke the imagination, taking listeners to unimaginable places. Story telling is a very important part of early childhood. It not only builds up one’s confidence level but also enhances the speaking skills.
Keeping this thought in mind, Staford School organised a story telling competition on 24th January 2018 for classes 1, 2 and 3. The aim to organise such an event was to remove the stage fear among the students, improve their communication skills and to be comfortable in expressing their views.
The preliminary round for class 3 was conducted in their respective classes. All the students were given fair chance to narrate their story and the best narrator was chosen for the final round. The teachers of class 1 and 2 put in a tremendous effort in making this event a success. Each story narrated concluded with moral, highlighting different values of life. The content and presentation skills with the help of colourful props of the tiny tots were outstanding. It also provided the atmosphere of joy and accomplishment. Enthusiasm and passion of the students were witnessed by the teachers and judges.
All in all, Staford School achieved another successful event in its bag.
