Staford School, Hardoi Road Branch, organized Summer Blossoms grand finale on 31st May, 2018, showcasing the results of a two-week summer camp held in the school premises.
Activities held during the camp included personality development, fireless cooking, best out of waste, swimming and sports. The star attraction was of course ‘The best out of waste activity’ also known as ‘kabad se jugad’. It was conducted by the ‘Swatantra Talim organization, which is working towards igniting children’s creativity, logical reasoning and critical thinking skills. Models and craft items made by the students during the summer camp were also on display. The children also presented the communication skills learnt during the ‘Personality Development’ classes.
The grand finale showcased group performances as well as personal accomplishments. A host of practical life skills was learnt by the students at Summer Blossoms. It was wonderful to see so many children participate enthusiastically in all the activities.The grand finale concluded with the distribution of certificates to all the participants.
The Principal of the school, Ms. Ratna Khanna, blessed and motivated all the young participants and emphasized on the fact that such innovative activities provide an even platform for all kids to explore and express their creativity in a better way.
