Swimming is an excellent cardiovascular workout that promotes heart and lung health, improves strength and flexibility, increases stamina and even improves balance and posture. In addition, swimming is a way to prevent childhood obesity. Encouraging children to swim can also improve their mental and emotional health. The natural buoyancy of the water is more relaxing than other types of exercise.
To enhance these skills in the pre-school children, students of K.G class were taken to theĀ Staford School, Main Campus to enjoy themselves in the huge full size swimming pool.
The students were guided by the swimming coach Mr. Jitendra Verma & taught many strokes to enhance their swimming skills.
The students had a gala time in the splash pool & later settled down for a picnic with their teachers in the lush green fields of the main school.
