Students of Staford School have proved time and again, that they not only excel in academics, but also shine in exhibiting their skills by their creative presentation.
Recently, they got a golden opportunity of participating in an Interschool Painting Competition conducted by Regional Science Centre, Aliganj. The painting competition was a part of a series of educational activities organized to commemorate the 27th anniversary of Regional Science City.
Students from various schools participated in the educational programmes held from 7th to 21st September, 2016. The Mega Painting contest had three categories-
- Primary (classes IV to VI): Topic “My green city”
- Secondary (Classes VII to X): Topic “Role of Science & Technology for Society”
- Higher Secondary (Class XI-XII) : Topic :”Digital India : My Dream”
The competition witnessed creativity exploding in every piece of art. It was a wonderful opportunity to think out of the box. While Umama Junaid and Azeem Hasan Khan of Class IX bagged the first and second prize in Secondary category, Rida Fatima of class VA stood second in the Primary category.
These students displayed excellent artistic skills and made their school proud by winning in various categories.
