The sun heats up land as well as water bodies on Earth. Land heats up as well as cool downs faster than water. This heating and cooling leads to sea breeze and land breeze especially on the coastal areas.
A hands on activity related to the types of breeze was conducted for grade IV students . The activity aimed at helping students to differentiate between the sea and land breeze.
Students actively participated in the activity. They prepared videos showing different types of breeze and presented them in class.
Outcome: The activity also made the students aware of different types of breeze . The basic idea behind the experiments conducted by the students was to enable them to get a deeper understanding of the concept. This activity turned out to be a great learning experience for young Stafordians.
