Reading through books is not the only medium of learning but fun filled activities and competitions enhance the learning process. Keeping this in mind Staford School organized a Hindi recitation competition for the Pre primary section.
These kinds of activities help the children to develop confidence and improve vocabulary.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation by students who recited a plethora of poems with much zeal. The occasion stressed on the need for co-curricular activities for sound development of children.
Children recited different poems like ‘Ek Chidiya ke bachche char, Billi mausi’ Chooha bola, Aloo bola etc with actions, gestures and lots of confidence.The judgment criteria were introduction of the poem, pronunciation, fluency and props. The level of confidence and gestures was commendable and the use of props added colour to their presentation.
