Reading through books is not the only medium of learning but fun filled activities and competitions enhance the learning process. Keeping this in mind on 9th September 2019 Staford School organized a hindi recitation competition for the children of Pre primary section.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation by students who recited a plethora of Hindi poems with much zeal. The occasion stressed on the need for co-curricular activities for sound development of children.
These kinds of activities help the child to develop confidence, improve vocabulary and also help them to overcome stage fear. Children recited different poems with actions, gestures and lots of confidence. Children recited the poems like ‘Shishtachar, Gulab ka phool, Barish ki shaitani mae, Billimausi’etc.The judgement criteria were introduction of the poem, pronunciation, voice modulation and expressions.The level of confidence and gestures was commendable and the use of props added colour to their presentation.
