Staford school always focus on learning by doing. Activities play an important role as we provide opportunities for children to Express themselves. Each child learns at his/her own pace. The objective of the activities in Maths is to develop statistical skills using the situation and data in real life.
Probability is the branch of mathematics concerning numerical descriptions of how likely an event is to occur, or how likely it is that a proposition is true. The probability of an event is a number between 0 and 1, where, roughly speaking, 0 indicates impossibility of the event and 1 indicates certainty.
As in the activity it is shown that how can we find out the Probability of different cases in different situations.
In this activity students have made a dice and by throwing it 25 times they have kept a record of all cases then at the end by using the formula they have found the Probability of given cases such as Probability of even and odd numbers in 25 throws, numbers less than or greater than 3, 4 or 5 etc.
