This Saturday, 7th September, 2013, Staford School flung its gates open to welcome the parents attending the parents-teacher meeting for classes II to VI. The parents arrived at the appointed time to meet their ward’s teachers to get an update on their progress.
The second unit tests got over on the 29th August and the parents were curious to know how the children had performed on the test. The teachers used this opportunity to apprise the parents about the progress of their children and also gave them some valuable insight into their child’s strengths and weaknesses.
With the first summative assessments round the corner, it is pertinent that parents, teachers and children work together to bring the children up to the expected academic performance. Regular studies, well organized routines at home and consistent efforts on the part of the children help in adequate preparation for the tests and keeps them away from the stress of the exams. Staford believes in inculcating good habits and a study regimen right from the start, so that the students do not feel stressed out or have any kind of ‘exam phobia’.
Staford School aims at the holistic development of the students through consistent honing of their personality and inculcating a love for learning. Here’s to happy children and happy school days!
