Staford Preschool – Thakurganj

Situated in close proximity to Chowk and Hardoi road areas, the Thakurganj branch of Staford Preschool that shall begin its first academic session in March 2018, is the first school in the city, which is based on the theory of multiple-intelligences.

This way of imparting education begins with collaborative teaching, wherein teachers educate students as a team by way of skill development, after identifying their individual level and type of intelligence so as to teach them all topics that the curriculum has. Students too learn the subject in collaboration.

Special emphasis is laid on life skills and the objective is to create well-rounded children. The multiple-intelligence approach seeks to identify the child’s inherent intelligence or potential so that education can be imparted in the manner that suits a child’s unique needs. In such a learning environment, children have the freedom to move into the zone of their individual type.

Infrastructure and interiors:

Staford Preschool, Thakurganj, which is spread in an area of 4,200 square feet, is designed in such a way that the child’s imagination and creativity can be fully nourished. Besides the methodology, the infrastructure is also based on multiple intelligence, where no child is bound by walls, but has the freedom and liberty to move around in the area where he/she wishes and prefers to learn in.

Unlike traditional schools, this institution has dedicated areas for story-telling, art and craft, and play apart from the well-equipped learning studios. A quiet room, sand pit, and amphitheater is also constructed to provide an atmosphere of free learning to the kids.

Class / Programs

The school runs classes in two shifts for children of Junior Play Group (Age 2+), Senior Play Group (Age 3+), Nursery (age 4+); and one shift for students of Kindergarten (5+).

After age 5+, students can move to the main school campus of Staford School on Hardoi Road to complete their education from CBSE board till Class XII

Timings

SHIFT 1

  • Junior Play Group- 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
  • Senior Play Group – 7:45 AM to 10:45 AM
  • Nursery- 7:45 AM to 10:45 AM
  • Kindergarten- 8:00 AM -12:30 PM

SHIFT 2

  • Junior Play Group- 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Senior Play Group – 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Nursery- 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Transportation facility

Staford Preschool Thakurganj has air-conditioned vans for students coming from various parts of the city. Pick and drop is provide from and to the child’s residence.

Drivers are trained and the school authorities also keep a check on the validity of documents that they have.

Roopali Awasthi
Center Head

Roopali is a post graduate in public Administration with an enriching experience of over 13 years in different organization of the education sector. In all these years she has always worked with students of different age group and the experience has enhanced her understanding of the challenges they face in today’s time. . Roopali truly believes that not everyone has to do something big to make a difference, small initiatives done with love and care work wonders in nurturing preschoolers.She puts in her heart & soul in guiding and shaping each child at her center as she knows that by making children better individuals,we will create a bright future.As a Center Head, Roopali motivates her team to bring out their best for her Center's perfect & smooth operations.

Radhika Mishra
Asst. Teacher

Radhika, the enthusiastic member of the team and a go getter, she is a sensible and humble educator. Her passion for teaching led her to become a teacher. She believes "teachers are life long learners." She finds it exciting to work as a Pre-Primary teacher. Her compassionate and kind conduct works successfully to achieve a highly engaged and motivated class. She ensures that with each lesson planned, students uncover their latent skills and capacity to test their learning potential.

Gunjan Dwivedi
Asst. Teacher

Gunjan has all the patience and skills required to bring out the creative and hidden talent out of every child. Her love for kids and passion for teaching enables her to read and understand the child's mind, develop and nourish it by engaging the child well during the process of learning. She has a pleasant smile and her ever sparkling eyes mesmerism the preschoolers,to become her good friends.

Alina

Alina is hardworking and dedicated facilitator. Her creative method of teaching helps in developing the skills in student. Her extrovert nature helps her to deal with different nature of students, patiently helping them to fulfill their tasks. Alina is very expressive and fun loving teacher.

Anshika

Anshika is dedicated and expressive teacher. She uses innovative teaching style to build up the interest of the children. She enjoys being with kids, her flexible and pleasant nature helps her to deal with different nature of students, patiently helping them to fulfill their task in hand.

Jyoti Sharma

Jyoti believes that her job allows her to make a difference, do good things and bring a positive change in a society. The energies of kids and their inquisitiveness to learn something with every new moment, inspires her to teach them to the best of her capacity.

Priya Singh

Priya is hardworking and has an urge to learn more every day. Her flexible and pleasant nature helps her to deal with different nature of students patiently helping them to fulfill their tasks in hands.

Anshi

Anshi is dedicated and hard working admission counsellor. She has good communication skills and interacts very well with people. Her helpful and friendly nature creates a good bond with the parents and students. Anshi loves kids and derives great satisfaction talking to them. Her calm and composed demeanor makes interaction with her pleasant.

Aiman

Aiman spreads smile and energy in her classroom. She is fond of spending time with tiny tots. She thinks that revealing and developing skills at an early age in Pre-Schoolers is a challenge which needs a careful and innovative dealing .For her a School is the only place where she gets a chance  to bring out the best blend of creativity and implementation of ideas.

Sarah Akbar
