Colours and animated cartoons are exceptional means of communication to learn and boost curiosity among children. Cartoons provide children a great source of new ideas, allowing them to enrich their dreams as well as to improve their vocabulary. Keeping this in mind Staford School organised an activity on “My Favourite Cartoon Character” in which students participated with enthusiasm the excitement, could be seen on their faces and they were extremely happy to see their peers speaking and holding the handmade images of their favourite cartoon characters.
The students spoke about their favourite cartoon characters. The activity was organised to shed some light on the importance of watching cartoons by stating that Cartoons can help kids in their early phases of learning especially the educational cartoons that teach shapes, numbers, colours and can expose children to different languages and develop their linguistic abilities but at the same, the activity also focussed on the bad impacts of watching cartoons for a longer time. The parents were advised that they should monitor what their wards watch and also observe their reaction to various events in the storyline. Overall, ‘My favourite Cartoon Character Activity’ was full of amazement, positive messages and students will definitely cherish it for a long time.
