In this digital world, a majority of people have shifted to digital transactions as they are simple, easy and less expensive. With the increase in online transactions the threats have also increased. From financial transactions to online privacy, everything is under attack from people of malicious intent. The stakes are higher and everyone should become ready to protect themselves by taking precautions. So, to make students aware of the various redressal mechanisms which are available to us if we become victim of an online attack, Staford School organized a seminar on Information and Technology under the ambit of Sahodaya Cluster V – Hub of Learning on the topic “Online Scams and Safety Measures”on 21st Aug, 2019.  Four schools namely Army Public School, SP Marg, Vibgyor High, Gomti Nagar, Maharaja Agrasen Public School , Motinagar and hosts , Staford School participated in this event. In this seminar the participants spoke about different online scams and the safety measures against them. Participation certificates were given to every contestant. The best speakers were awarded trophies and certificates.

The judges for the event were Mr. Rohit, Project Manager ,Softpro India Computer Technologies and Ms. Aliza Raza Rizvi  Professor (Computer Science) at Dr. M.C. Saxena College of Engineering & Technology. At the end the judges shared their views as experts and apprised the participants about the nitty-gritty of the digital world. Principal, Staford School Ms Ratna Khanna applauded the performances of all participants and thanked the schools for their participation.
