Contemporary dance allows the dancers to have freedom of movement, allowing their bodies to freely express their innermost feelings. To encourage the students to express themselves in a dance form, an Inter house contemporary dance competition was held on Friday, the 16th of October 2015 for classes 4-7 at Staford School. The competition started with great zeal and enthusiasm. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances. The spectators bore witness to the enthusiasm and energy of the young Stafordians, as they enthralled everyone with their performances.
Grooving to the beats of ‘Agneepath’, ‘Bezuban’, ‘Ali Maula’ and ‘Jeele Zara’ all the 4 houses gave outstanding performances. Students enjoyed themselves to the fullest. The competition were Judged by our school teachers Mr Ratnakar and Mr Anuj. All the dance performances were choreographed by our dance teacher Mr Vivek.
