Staford Preschool Chowk and Thakurganj branches celebrated their Annual Function on 16th December with great zest and enthusiasm.
Dr.ManjuTandon, a renowned gynaecologist of the city graced the function as Chief Guest. The guest of honour was Dr.Sadiq Abbas, Professor, Shia P.G College. Deputy Director, Staford School, Mrs. Anjali Bansal and Principal Mrs.RatnaKhanna graced the occasion with their presence. The function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guests. An exuberant SaraswatiVandana was performed by the students of Staford School, Hardoi Road, marked the beginning of ‘Blossoms’.
The entire programme revolved around the theme – ‘Hues Blossom’. The tiny tots of both the schools created a beautiful ambience through their performances. Showcasing their unique dynamism, the students gave mesmerizing performances on songs like ‘Dilhaichotasa’, ‘ittisihasi’ ‘fruit song’ etc. An energetic dance drama on the song ‘Prem se humkojeene do’ by the students of Staford Preschool ChowkBranch, conveyed the message of saving animals and their habitats.
A colourful and vibrant dance performance on the song ‘My name is Madhavi’ by the tiny tots of Staford Preschool, Thakurganj Branch brought forth the rich culture of our country which left the gathering spellbound.
The students of Staford School, Hardoi Road danced on the tunes of ‘its ‘Christmas time’ and ‘Jingle bells’. They enthralled the audience with their dance with the message that the children are storehouse of infinite energy with the capacity of taking their dreams to the distant corners of the unknown.
The Chief GuestDr.ManjuTandon was superlative in her appreciation of the students, teachers and management for the performances of the students.
Annual report was presented byMrs.RupaliAwasthi, Centre head, Thakurganj. The programme moved towards its finale with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs.Aparna Singh, Centre head, Chowk, who expressed her gratitude to all the distinguished guests and parents for gracing the occasion with their presence and also lauded the participants for their spectacular performance.
