Heritage is tremendously concerned in the construction and legitimating of collective constructs of uniqueness, such as group, gender, religion, civilization and nationalism.
Heritage means what we inherit from our ancestors and from our past. India is a land of varied cultures and traditions. People from numerous castes, religions, and creeds reside in our country. Each ethnic group in our country has its own tale of origin and its set of unique traditions and culture. They have all contributed to the making of Indian history and culture. Nature has made India into a distinct geographical entity.
The students of Class VII A have written an article of 150 words about the topic – Heritage of India. Stafordians have written an article about the Indo Islamic architecture, temple architecture. Indo British architecture, Ancient architecture etc.The students actively took part in the activity. They have mentioned that the ‘Heritage is property of the world.’
The activity enhanced the knowledge of the students that the heritage has important evidences of past incidents and changes and it is the necessity to conserve without political involvement and racial discrimination.
