Lord Krishna as a child is an embodiment of joyfulness, playfulness, endearing, mischievousness and blossoming intelligence. The mothers in India see an image of “Bal Gopal or Kanha” in their child. The teachers at Staford also feel the same way and want each child to grow up with all qualities that brings about all-round personality development. The significance of celebrating Janmashtami was to create awareness about traditions and customs and inculcate moral values like truth and love for all, justice and righteousness
On Tuesday, 27th August 2019 Janmashtami was celebrated at Staford School with the little learners of pre primary dressed up as naughty Krishna and cute Radha. Beautiful decorations were put up to make this event more cheerful and colorful. Children danced on the tunes of garba. They made beautiful ‘bansuris’ and decorated pictures of Lord Krishna. The students were overjoyed and the day turned out to be awesome.
