Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it!
We at Staford School believe that “No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks”, hence the preprimary section organized a special assembly on Christmas to show their gratitude to the helping staff on 22nd December 2017.
The aim of the program was to reinforce the essentials of social behavior and the role of both direct and indirect helpers whom we need most necessarily to complete our daily routine.
With a warm welcome to all the drivers, didies, cleaners and security guards, the program started with prayer song which explained the significance of Christmas followed by the speech by the students of class KG A who expressed their gratitude and thanked the support staff. Various games were organized and all of them enjoyed and participated in it enthusiastically. Mr. Singh, Transport Manager, Mrs. Kanchan Lata , Supervisor, and Mr. Raghavendra Mishra were also a part of the celebration and were overjoyed by the performances and the gesture of the tiny tots!
The program came to an end by handing a token of love in the form of gifts to all the drivers, didies, security guards and the cleaners, Ms Vijaya Kumar, the Principal, expressed her gratitude for their valuable services and their contributions towards the maintenance and smooth functioning of the School.
It was a happy event enjoyed by all.
