Fishes are said to be the powerful energizer of wealth, luck and happiness in our life. Fishes symbolizes abundance of wealth, prosperity and good fortune. This is one of the reasons why people keep aquariums at homes. In order to create affection towards these wonderful creatures of God and inculcate curiosity towards the aquatic life of our nature, the students of classes Pre-primary were taken to the ‘Ganga Aquarium’, situated at National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR), Lucknow, which is considered to be one of the best aquariums in India, on Friday, 18th October 2019
The students were fascinated to see the different species of colourful fresh water and tropical fish of different shapes and sizes on display there. Fishes like red tail, eels, clown fish, goldfish, cat fish, paco, Feng shui and crabs were major attractions for the kids. They were filled with excitement to see the turtle pond. They got a glimpse of aquatic life.
The excursion was undertaken to make students aware of conservation of marine life. The trip ended with students taking pleasant memories back with them. Overall, it was a very exciting and enriching experience for the students.
