Children can benefit from playtime. Games offer a fun-filled, relaxed environment where students can practice using new words and are free to express themselves.
With this view, ‘FUN WITH WORDS’ workshop was conducted at Staford Pre School, Chowk, on 11th October 2018, by Ms Saima Ahtisham Zaidi, expert teacher from Staford School, main branch, at Hardoi Road. This interactive session saw the students playing with words, which was both, entertaining and educational.
Various activities like Letter Hunt, Flash Cards, Placing Picture
Cards, Vowel Sounds and Vocabulary games enthralled the Young
Stafordians and left them spellbound.
Word play games are an excellent way to practice spelling, increase vocabulary, retention and keep the mind sharp. Participating in such recreational activities is an effective way to develop language and communication skills. It also helps our children to be more socially confident.
