Early childhood educational activities that involve young children in sensory experiences . Staford Pre School organized an activity for the tiny tots for exploring the five senses of touch, sight, smell, taste and sound. During this theme children identify, compare and classify items as they investigate the world around them.
Our five senses allow us to enjoy the world around us — the taste of our food, the sound of music, the beauty of a sunrise, the softness of a cat’s fur, and the fragrance of a rose. Children may recognize the importance of their senses, but they don’t often focus on them individually
The kids went to the touch booth to feel and experience different textured objects by rubbing their hands over the surface of different objects. The taste booth is definitely the place where the kids looked forward to some yummy treats. The children experienced listening to the sound of many different items.
The sight booth had various activities that kids performed. There were also fun activities like puzzles, colour tablets and bead sorting .The smell booth had smelling bottles with good smells and bad smells. There were sweet smelling perfumes, rose water, fragrant roses and jasmine.
The kids were filled with so many amazing facts and the sense booth day left them with a sense of wonderment about themselves and the wonderful world around them
