Our body is made up of many organ systems. These organ systems work together so that our body can function efficiently.
The excretory system is an organ system that helps in getting rid of wastes formed inside our body. The excretory system consists of a pair of kidneys, a urinary bladder, a pair of tubes called ureters, and a urethra.
A hands-on activity on Excretory Systemwasconducted for grade IV students. The activity aimed at the recapitulation of all key sub-topics learnt by the students from the chapter.
Students actively participated in this activity. They made a model of Excretory system and presented it confidently with a brief explaination of the function of different organs of Excretory system. The enthusiasm among the students was worth watching. Through this activity, students were able to explain the function of the kidneys, urinary bladder, ureters, and urethra. They described the importance of the Excretory system in our body. This hands-on activity helped in shaping the soft skills of young Stafordians and boosted the itself-confidence and morale. It also brought out the hidden talent in students. Without the cooperation of parents, the activity would not had been possible.
