“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words” -Robert Frost
Rhymes can prove to be a stepping stone for young children to learn English language. So an English recitation competition was organized for pre-primary section on Friday, 25th August 2017.
The competition encouraged the children to enjoy the expression of thought, rhyme, and rhythm. It also aimed to develop their linguistic and presenting skill.
All children who participated came prepared with different rhymes with different themes like animals, vegetables, fruits etc. It was a delight to watch the tiny tots present the rhymes gracefully with confidence. The eye-catching props added icing to the cake.
Over all, the participant showed their high level of confidence, expression and talent in the competition and enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
The judges were Mr Anurag and Ms Sophia, who appreciated and applauded the performances of the participants.
