Dussehra-a thought to curb the evils

You are here: Home / Hardoi Road / Dussehra-a thought to curb the evils

5 Oct 2019

Dussehra is not only a festival but a thought, an earnest need of the hour, a solution of all social and man-made evils. Dussehra can be a torch bearer to lead the one who has gone astray. Stafordians considered it to be an essential initiative to propagate the latent motive of its celebration. Thus this thought of killing the inner evils was enlivened in the colorful presentations by the students of classes I to VIII on 5th October, 2019. Asst Director, Staford School, Mrs. Anjali Bansal and the other dignitaries along with the Centre Heads of Staford Preschool Chowk and Thakurganj Branch graced the occasion with their presence.

Evilscan be defeated only at the time when we gird up our loin for the introspection of our daily actions. The golden words of the Principal, Staford School motivated the children for adopting the positive attitude towards the life and imbibe the real motive of killing the inner evils, only then the real celebration of Dussehra would become prolific in reality.

Celebration ended on an enthusiastic note with a lesson to clean ourselves, our souls and our society from all the ten kinds of evils. Children witnessed the evils getting aflame that glimpsed in the effigy of “Ravan”. Thus with the lights and crackers, children learnt the mythological importance of celebrating this festival.
