Staford School conducted an awareness programme on Friday, 6th March 2020 to sensitize the students regarding preventive interventions for reducing transmission of Novel Coronavirus disease.
A special assembly was organised, where the students were informed about ways to prevent the spreading of deadly Coronavirus. It was emphasised upon that there is no drug or vaccine available as now. So, preventive measures are very crucial to reduce transmission of this disease.
Special emphasis was laid on importance of washing hands frequently with soap and water, avoiding contact with a person suffering from cough and cold, using mask or handkerchief if one is suffering from cold and cough and avoid travelling if not urgent.
After briefing about the ways of preventing the disease, the students of Class 8B performed a skit, symptoms and preventive measures regarding Coronavirus.
The assembly concluded with a message-
‘Not to panic but to follow and share the information of preventive measures with family, friends and neighbours so that all stay healthy and safe.’
