The much awaited class presentation of 2-B was held on 31st October 2015. All the students were geared up for their performances. It was a fun-filled show, presented by the students. They showed their parents, a glimpse of how they are taught at Staford School.
The presentation commenced with seeking the blessings of God through the school prayer followed by hands on Maths activity. This activity was based on addition which was demonstrated using a bi- coloured board, beans, ice- cream sticks and bowls. Next to follow was a game called ‘Simon Says’ based on verbs. Parents actively participated and enjoyed the game. These different and innovative methodologies that are used at Staford impressed the parents. Recitation of the poem ‘Chanda Mama Aa Jana’ was the next activity.
The students presented the importance of the three little magic words, i.e. ‘sorry, thank you and please’ through a small skit along with an action song. The students displayed their dramatic and narrative skills through a puppet show ‘The King of the Jungle’. Shortly to follow was a groovy action song, ‘Shake your friend’s hand’. The students demonstrated a high level of confidence by interacting and singing along with the parents. The presentation ended with the vote of thanks by the Principal Ms. Vijya Kumar. It concluded with the class teacher, Ms. Towheed Fatma interacting with parents to get their views and suggestions.
