Staford School celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr, a festival that upholds the spirit of love and brotherhood, on 5th July, 2016 in the school campus.
The special assembly began with the recitation of selected verses from the Holy Quran. The celebration took a soulful turn when the teachers too participated in the event and sang some soul stirring and melodious sufi songs like ‘ Bhar do jholi’ ,’mera khuda bada hai’, ‘damadam mast kalandar’ and ‘Allah hu’. There were some breath taking dance performances by Mr. Vivek Prajapati, Mr. Ratnakar Sharma and the students of classes III to V.
The speeches delivered by Mrs. Rizwan Fatima, the pre-primary coordinator, Ms. Towheed Fatima and Mrs. Aisha Alvi enlightened the students about the spirit behind the festival.
The celebration came to an end by reciting a prayer wishing for good health and prosperity for all.
