Staford School organized its Annual Event SPLASH 2018, an Art and Craft Exhibition on Sunday, November 25th. Ms. Mansi Didwaniya, Director, Kala Srot Art Gallery was the chief guest. The presence of Director, Staford School, Mr. Ambrish Bansal, Asst. Director, Mrs. Anjali Bansal and Principal, Mrs. RatnaKhanna along with other dignitaries and esteemed guests, the parents and patrons of the school graced the occasion.

The exhibition received an overwhelming response both by the students as well as their guardians. The art and craft work by the students were on display, which was appreciated by the chief guest. Wings of imagination were portrayed in the form of oil pastels, paintings on pots, paper quilling, paper bags, wood work etc. It was truly a riot of colors and creativity. The Ground Floor classrooms were decorated with the subject wise theme in English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Science, Physical Education and Computers to enhance the vocabulary, communications skills, Mental Maths ability, history of Indian culture and heritage, scientific skills and programming abilities.

While English section focused on Grammar Games and common errors committed while speaking or writing the language, Hindi Section highlighted the different eras of development of the poetry and literature. The Social Science Section gave a glimpse of the different cultures and traditions followed in the various Indian States. The Science exhibit displayed various working models such as spacecraft and space shuttle on the theme ‘Universe’. Hands-on activities and creative learning were projected in Maths Section. The use of technology to create various programs like digital calculator, websites, games etc in Computers Section was a great delight to watch and learn new concepts.

To add more sparks to the exhibition, there were performances from various classes linked to their craft items. Ganesh Vandana, Bihu Dance, Lavani and Goan Dance added a zest of excitement to the whole show.

The creative work of the students and the hands-on activities in the subjective section caught the attention of the visitors and was highly appreciated by all.
