“When the sun rises, no candle can replace its brightness”
This statement is true for the festival of Deepawali, where its essence cannot be replaced by crackers and noise caused by them.
Staford School, Hardoi Road celebrated Deepawali in an eco-friendly way. On this occasion, many competitions were conducted for the students of classes VI-XI. The celebration of Deepawali came alive when the whole school wore a festive look with Diyas and Lanterns adorning the corridors and the reception area in bright colours. The rangoli made by the students added the perfect setting to the festivity.
There was an optimistic environment created all over and one could feel the essence of happiness while walking through the corridors. All the participants were quite engaged and so enthusiastic that is seemed as if it was not a competition, but they were decorating their own houses. The participants of Kalash & Thaal decoration also put their heart and soul into it.
The Students pledged to celebrate a cracker free Deepawali to contribute to the environment in their own little way.
