12 May 2018

To acknowledge the efforts of students in various spheres, the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was held at Staford School, Hardoi Road on 9th May, 2018. It was an occasion to acclaim the efforts of Stafordians, who had attained excellence in academic and co-curricular spheres through their hard work and perseverance.

The event began with a welcome song by the School choir, followed by the lamp lighting ceremony. The invocation to Goddess Saraswati marked the beginning of the cultural programme. The song ‘Milon hum aagaye’ by the choir members, showcased the feeling of pride in the hearts of the students, for being a part of this institution. The energetic and vibrant dance performances on the songs ‘ Ghoomar’ and ‘Aashayein’ left the audience enthralled.

The chief guest for the occasion, Mr Mahrukh Mirza and Deputy Director, Staford School, Mrs Anjali Bansal, gave away the prizes to the students excelling in curricular and co-curricular areas. Budding writers, all-rounders, spell-bee winners, students with talents in art, dance, music, swimming, and sports from each class were given honours apart from the children who excelled at academics. The persistent and consistent workers were awarded with an “emerging star” award for showing the maximum progress in an academic year. Students with 100 percent attendance also received the awards.

The prize winners were congratulatedby the Principal of the school, Ms. Ratna Khanna. She encouraged all students to raise their level so high that all could be entitled to be the achievers of the year and win laurels in the upcoming academic year.
