The universe is vast and largely mysterious, but it’s also our home andwiththe aim to sate the hunger of students regarding universe, StafordSchool organized an educational trip for classes IV, V, IX and X to Indira Gandhi Planetarium on 16 December, 2017. The building of Indira Gandhi planetarium itselfis in the shape of planet Saturn. Planetarium provides the best leaning environment to stimulate among students the love of astronomy. Students were first given a walk through the gallery of planetarium where Evolution of Indian Space Programs and various Indian space and moon programs were depicted through models. The spectacular projection, thereafter, gave students an astonishing voyage through space, with the help of sparkling sights and sounds.Their queries were solved by their accompanied teachers.The Students had the best experience of theirlife as theylearnt about galaxies, nebulas, stars, constellations, our solar system, planets and satellites and our address in the universe. It was over all a very fruitful and cosmological event for one and all.
