The universe is vast and largely mysterious, but it’s also our home and with the aim to sate the hunger of students regarding the universe, Staford School organized an educational trip for classes 1 and 2 to Indira Gandhi Planetarium on 12th February 2018. The building of Indira Gandhi planetarium itself is in the shape of planet Saturn. Planetarium provides the best learning environment to stimulate among students the love of astronomy. Students were first given a walk through the gallery of planetarium where Evolution of Indian Space Programs and various Indian space and moon programs were depicted through models. The spectacular projection, thereafter, gave students an astonishing voyage through space, with the help of sparkling sights and sounds. Their queries were solved by their accompanied teachers. Students had the best experience of their life as they learnt about galaxies, nebulas, stars, constellations, our solar system, planets and satellites and our address in the universe. It was over all a very fruitful and cosmological event for one and all.
