Field trips are important because it gives hands on experience to the students. Also, travelling gives them a chance to see different places and learn new things. Staford School always believes that learning should not be restricted within the four walls of a school. Students of pre-primary section had an opportunity to visit a farmhouse on Friday 9th February 2018.
Observing different vegetables growing at the farmhouse was a learning experience. It was exciting for the little ones to see some vegetables grow above the earth and some of them under the ground. The students saw cauliflower, cabbage, lemon, brinjal, bottlegourd etc and also visited the spinach and mustard field.
The kids were extremely excited to see a wide variety of animals such as chicks, hens, goats, buffaloes, etc and were overwhelmed to see the young ones of pigeons and rabbits. The students also enjoyed playing on the slides, swing and had an exciting time jumping on the piles of hays.
The visit was a nature walk clubbed with games, entertainment. The teachers and students returned to the school with happy memories to treasure forever.
