The fourth Pre-primary Graduation Day of Staford Pre School was celebrated on Thursday 23rd March 2017 with great fanfare. The teachers of Pre-primary section were happy and proud to see their little ones get ready for formal schooling. It was a day of pride, happiness, and achievements. Every student received the certificate of honour for all that they had learnt and done in the past year. The Graduation ceremony for pre-primary became even more special when these tiny tots were felicitated by a renowned child care specialist of the city, Dr. Manju Tandon and the manager Pre-Schools, Staford, Mrs. Richa B. Jolliffe. The children full of enthusiasm to enter a new phase of their academic lives, welcomed the guests and performed brilliantly on the stage.
The event was witnessed by proud parents accompanied by the children’s grandparents too who were all eager to see their child “graduating”. The programme commenced with little Laiba Akmal of KG -A welcoming everyone to the Graduation Ceremony. Her heart-warming speech was followed by a well orchestrated welcome dance, by the Nursery students, which received a loud round of applause from the audience.
Finally, the students were awarded their Graduation Certificates by Dr. Manju Tandon and Mrs Jolliffe. Each little graduate was named and his/ her qualities shared with the parents and the audience. This small gesture was a parting gift from all the class teachers to their students. Little graduates showed their gratitude and appreciation to the principal, parents, teachers and their friends through their wonderful performance.
Both Dr. Tandon and Mrs. Jolliffe addressed the parents and showered the children with blessings. Mrs. Jolliffe reiterated on the need of celebrating childhood and the role of parents in making the children feel loved and cared for. Her tips on parenting and making life joyful for children was much appreciated.
Mrs. Rizwan Fathima pre primary coordinator, thanked the parents for their continuous support and urged them to work together with the school, to help students achieve their potential. “Wishing you all a great future ahead. Keep soaring high, making us proud.”she congratulated all the little graduates.
The program ended with the vote of thanks by little Atiksh of KG-B.
It was indeed a joyous and memorable day !! May God Bless these tiny “graduates” as they continue their education in the main stream of the school.
