Parent Teacher interaction is very significant to a child’s progress in school. The interaction plays a major role in understanding a child better. At Staford, we strive to understand the behavior, needs, strengths and areas of interest of each child, so that we as teachers can bring out the best in them.
The first Parent Teacher meeting for the pre-primary section, in this academic session, was held on 9th May 2014. The child’s classroom behavior, activities and academic progress were discussed individually with each of the parents.
The children accompanied by their parents felt proud to introduce their teachers to them and were overjoyed to receive certificates for the colouring competition held earlier. Furthermore, each child’s achievements were appreciated and shared with the parents. Not only were the parents glad to see their child’s work on display in the classroom soft boards, but also appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the school in bringing about a positive change in their children.
This much awaited Parents Teacher Meeting was indeed a great successful interactive session and we look forward to more such occasions.
