The beginning of new year brings new hopes, new aspirations and new resolutions. To make the new year more exciting and to help students start the new year on a high note, Staford School has organised Children’s New Year Fiesta from 31st December, 2015 to 3rd January, 2016. The event included Jewellery Making, Art & Craft Skills, Robotics, Calligraphy, Yoga, Mathematical Tricks, Rangoli Making, Animation, Cookery and Music classes.
Active participation of students of age 3 to 14 was seen throughout the event. Students were keen to learn all the skills and looked very enthusiastic. All the activities were conducted by experienced teachers specializing in their respective domains. A lot of enthusiasm was seen in the music and art & craft activities conducted by Mr. Anuj and Mr. Ratnakar respectively. Mr. Ratnakar also conducted the Jewellery making and Rangoli sessions. Some of the most curious, creative tech savvy children were seen making robots and animation videos under the guidance of Ms. Sarah Abbas and Mr. Nirbhay Dave . Calligraphy sessions were conducted by Mrs. Samreen to revive the lost art. Mrs. Kamini Misra helped students sharpen their minds with mathematical tricks for faster calculation. Yoga sessions were conducted to teach the students various aasans. Mrs. Saxena conducted cookery classes to give a treat to the taste buds.
In short, the new year’s event at Staford School was full of energy and activity. Not only did the students enjoy participating in different activities, but also the parents benefited from it.
