Gaiety and patriotic fervour marked 70th Independence Day celebrations in Staford School. On this patriotic occasion,Stafordians showcased a colourful spectacle of India’s vision through their performance.
Every citizen of India is well aware that 15th August is the day when India got its freedom from the British rule to become a free country. The day is celebrated all over in unity with great patriotism. To commemorate the sovereignty of our beloved nation, the honourable chief guest, Col. Mridul Singh unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the national anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
Later, the participants spellbound the audience with their performance and energized them with patriotic warmth. Martyrs like Mangal Pandey, ChandraShekhar Azad, Rani Laxmi Bai, and the lesser known heroes of the country were remembered and saluted through various performances, dance dramas, songs, and skits.
