Coming to the end of our current school year and in honour of the time we have spent together and what the future holds, Staford School, Hardoi Road Branch celebrated a simple yet very memorable Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony on 30th March, 2019, in the school premises. The distinguished guest for the event, Dr. Agha Tarique, Principal, Hayat College of Nursing was cordially welcomed by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Ratna Khanna. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
Vibrant music, breathtaking colours and highly coordinated movements were the highlight of all the dance performances of the event which promptly set the tone and mood of the atmosphere.Prayer song,‘Teri hai zameen’ by Pre-Nursery and Nursery kids marked the beginning of the event. The tiny tots of KG section welcomed the guest of honour by singing the Welcome song-‘We Welcome, Welcome’. The KG students left everybody spell bound with their mesmerizing dance performance on ‘Future is looking good to me’. Their energetic booming and clapping coaxed the audience to sway to its lively beats. Another show stealing performance was a dance drama-‘Elephant and friends’, presented by the students of classes Pre-Nursery and Nursery.The little angels of Staford Pre-School Chowk Branch won everyone’s heart with their adorable performances.Last but not the least, all the sections of class KG presented the Graduation song,expressing their joy on graduating to the main school.
After the cultural programme, the students of KG section of Hardoi Road and PSC Chowk Branch walked on the stage, adorned in convocation caps. Their smiling faces were welcomed by rapturous applause from the audience as they received scrolls of merit on the dais. At the end, the little graduates showed their gratitude and appreciation to the management, principal, teachers, parents and their friends in the form of a wonderful thanksgiving performance.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the Principal, Mrs. Ratna Khanna.
It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones as they received their KG Graduation Day’s Diploma which will mark the journey of a child to a school in which they will be spending 10 long years facing ups and downs and exploring new ideas and shaping themselves into tomorrow’s leaders.
