Every week has some or the other fun event lined up for our tiny tots. This week the School decided to have a fun-filled picnic for the children in the serene, secure and familiar environs of our school. Having a picnic with the teachers was the best treat for our toddlers this week; after all, what better way to end an year full of studies, activities, reviews and on-going assessments!
This Friday, 28th Feb, our tiny tots showed up in party and picnic wear, all set to have a blast and take full advantage of the perfect weather for an in campus picnic. Unlike ordinary picnics, this one was planned meticulously to ensure that the children had a lot of fun in various ways! They got ample opportunity to engage in physical exercise, uninhibited expression through song and dance, and every minute filled with fun and games aimed at developing their motor skills, coordination and body control.
The school resonated with laughter and cheer as children had a ball of a time with recreational activities such as bursting balloons, passing the ball, musical chairs, chasing balloons and singing songs. The students had fun on the slides, see-saws, twirly-climbers and just playing catch with their teachers.
Teachers took the opportunity to combine multiple activities such as a nature walk, outdoor games, group songs, dances, rhymes and an assortment of games. Children had great fun exploring nature and enjoyed playing with their classmates and teachers. The students felt extremely happy to have one full day of fun all by themselves- and more importantly a day without books.
