Mr Ambrish Bansal
A graduate in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi, Ambrish hails from a respected business family with interests in brick kilns, construction and pharmaceutical distribution. Already armed with an enviable 10 years’ experience of running two schools in Lucknow, he wants to bring to Staford a dynamic new approach to education. As he strives to fulfill his vision of establishing ‘a school with a difference’ — of an institution that will break new ground and set an example for others to follow — 40 years old Ambrish has the enthusiasm, flair, drive and youth on his side.
Mr Ambrish Bansal leads all initiatives as the Director of Staford School.
Ms Vijaya Kumar
Principal, Main School
Teaching is a passion for Ms. Vijaya Kumar and she has worked conscientiously on adapting innovative techniques and using latest technology to facilitate learning. An alumna of Loreto Convent, Lucknow, she earned a Master’s degree in Education, English, and Philosophy from Lucknow University and is considering Research/ a P.hd in English. She has more than 18 years of experience in teaching English Language and Literature, at secondary, and senior secondary levels, and also has valuable experience of ESL teaching in People’s Republic of China, and the Sultanate of Oman. She has taught in classrooms of various sizes, levels and environments, and over the last few years, has enjoyed working online, teaching students in the United States of America.
She has also developed content for reputed e-learning and e-teaching companies and is very much involved in introducing innovative, creative and entertaining ways of learning.
Her experience of working and learning from the varied interesting and challenging teaching positions held, has given her a well rounded approach and insight into bringing the most innovative ways of teaching and learning into the classrooms and the school.
Richa .B. Jolliffe
Richa has been an international educationist for well over 24year – she has been a conscientious & passionate teacher of the English Language and as well as Literature; she is an alumni of Loreto Convent, Lucknow and has done her master in English and is pursuing her doctorate in English from Cambridge University. She has had the unique opportunity to teach across the three existing teaching boards in India & abroad i.e. CBSE/ ICSE & IGCSE; she has also been instrumental in setting up English Labs in the school’s she has taught. Richa has received numerous awards during her teaching career for her innovative & creative teaching methodology.
Richa has a great passion for writing. Her writings are an expression of the events which take place in everyone’s lives. Her language is simple & easy to understand. There is variety in her compositions, as she tries to connect with all age groups through her creative life expressions.
In addition to her academic facilitations with students she also manages Staford School administration with great accuracy & efficiency. She has the ability to direct, motivate and lead the team to perform effectively. Richa believes in communicating with all the Staford staff members & parents alike to form a strong connect with all.
